RESOLUTION NO. 93-;:.0 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of real estate within Phase 1 of the plat of Boulder Bridge Farm in the City of Shorewood, which project has been designated Project 80 WTP-2, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: B Alt t ase erna e $139,797.00 $8,219.00~ 160,900.00 16,000.00 MacInerny, Inc. Gridor Construction, Inc. Lee Richert Plumbing & Heating, Inc. New Mech Company Johnson Engineering Co. A. & K. Construction, Inc. of Stillwater, Minn. 138,200.00 160,230.00 163,400.00 137,905.00 28,200.00 22,200.00 29,500.00 21,960.00 and WHEREAS, the engineer has reviewed the bids for accuracy and has made his recommendation to the council to accept the base bid and alternate bid of the lowest responsible bidder and it appears that is the lowest responsible bidder for the base bid and for the alternate bid as a combination improvement of the Boulder Bridge Farm Phase 1, Project 80 WTP-2, for construction of pump house and appurtenant work, having submitted a bid of NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD: 1. The Mayor and the Clerk/Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract, the form of which has been attached to the bid specifications, with in the name of the City of Shorewood for improve- ment of Boulder Bri.dge Farm, Phase 1, project 80 WTP-2, being for the installation of pump house and appurtenant work, all according to the plan:3 and specifications heretofore approved by this city council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,. except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been filed.
