RESOLUTION NO. 11--1XJ .
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
improvement of real estate within Phase 1 of the plat
of Boulder Bridge Farm in the City of Shorewood, which project
has been designated 80-2, bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, the engineer has reviewed the bids for accuracy and
has made his recommendation to the council to accept the lowest
responsible bidder and it appears that Widmer Bros., Inc. is the
lowest responsible bidder having submitted a bid of $257,750.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SHOREWOOD:
1. The Mayor and the Clerk/Administrator are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into the contract, the form 'of which has been
attached to the bid specifications, with Widmer Bros., Inc. of
Spring Park, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Shorewood for
the improvement of Boulder Bridge Farm, Phase 1, Project 80-2,
being for the installation of water mainJ sanitary sewer, storm
sewer, street improvements and appurtenant work, all according
to the plans and specifications heretofore approved by this city
council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.

2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that
the deposit of the successful bidder and the next lower bidder
shall be retained until a contract has been filed.
