80-067 e RESOLUTION NO. 67-80 WHEREAS, in the municipal election of the City of Shorewood of November 4, 1980 the returns as certified by the Council on November 6, 1980 showed the following number of votes being cast for the two council seats being contested: Alexander Leonardo Robert Rascop Robert O. Naegele, Jr. William Keeler 1.412 1.122 1.112 870 and WHEREAS, following certification of such election, Robert O. Naegele, Jr., filed with the City clerk/administrator a written tit request for a recound of the votes cast, and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 204A.515 provides that the governing body of the municipality shall recount the votes at the expense of the municipality where the difference between the number of votes cast for the losing candidate and the winning candidate is 1% of the votes or less when the total vote cast for election to the office Is more than 2000 but less than 10,000 votes, and WHEREAS, the difference between the number of votes cast fn~ Rnh~~+ Rac~n~ n~~ D~~__~ n ~----,- . .....
