RESOLUTION NO. 65-80
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has undertaken a project to
construct a public well located on land owned by the City of Shore-
wood, adjacent to Badger Park, and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood as part of the project is pro-
viding public water to property known as Wild Duck III, which is
located approximately 2,300 feet from the well site, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to lay a municipal water line between
the well site, and to property to be served,and the best location
for the line has been determined by the city engineer and approved
by this council, and
WHEREAS, in order to construct the line, there will be required
certain permanent and temporary easements, which easements are de-
scribed in the attached exhibit, marked parcels 1 through 10.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
e CITY OF SHOREWOOD, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The city attorney is hereby authorized to offer to fee owners
as consideration for acquiring easements described in the attached
parcels 1 through 10 the following sums:
Permanent easements - 40~ per square foot
Temporary easements - 50~ per lineal foot
2. In the event the city attorney is unable to negotiate the
acquisition of the easements prior to November 1, 1980, he is
authorized to then commence an eminent domain action in Hennepin
County for the purpose of acquiring the easements.
AOOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood, Hennepin County, State of
Minnesota, this 6th day of October, 1980.
