RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on
May 28, 1980 , the city engineer has prepared plans and
specifications for the improvement of WildIh!ck 3rd Addition, by
means of providing a deep well, appurienances~-a~-rururl[rne and
has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for
approval,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SHOREWOOD:
1. The Council does divide said plans and specifications
into three separate construction stages and does approve them
individually as follows:
a. Deep well of approximately 440 feet to the
bottom ofche Jordan Sandstone Formation;
b. Pump house and app~rtenances to provide
water storage all to be located on Badger
Field;
c. Trunk line from the well sour08 to Wild
Duck 3rd Addition.

Sun, and in the Construction B1jJ.letin~ aI:' advert:':'.sement for bids

3. Upon acceptance of the bids for the construction of a
deep well, the clerk-administrator is instructed to prepare and
cause to be inserted in the official newspaper and Construction
Bulletin bids for the making of the staged improvement designated
as:
b. Pump house and appurtenances to provide water
storage all to be located on Badger Field, and
c. Trunk line from the well source to Wild Duck
3rd Addition.
Publication to be the same number of days as in first stage and
bids to be opened by the clerk-administrator in the city hall
on the date set by the clerk-administrator, and upon tabulation
the bids to be considered by the Council within 7 days following
tabulation.

I, Elsa I. Wiltsey, being the duly appointed clerk-administrator
of the City of Shorewood, do hereby certify that the above resolution
was adopted unanimously by the city council of the City of Shorewood
at a regular meeting thereof on July 14, 1980, at which all five
members of the council were present.
