CITY OF SHOREWOOD
RESOLUTION NO. 24-80
Resolution authorizing submission of the City of Shorewood Community
Development Program to Hennepin County for consideration as part of
the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Application,
in accord with the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as
amended.
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has executed a Cooperation
Agreement with Hennepin County agreeing to participate in the Urban
Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program, and
WHEREAS, a three year Community Development Program and Housing
Assistance Plan has been prepared consistent with the Comprehensive
Urban Hennepin County Community Development strategy and the Community
Development Program Regulations, and
WHEREAS, the three year Community Development Program and Housing
Assistance Plan has been subject to citizen review pursuant to the
Urban Hennepin County Citizen Participation Plan.
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City Council of the
City of Shorewood approved the proposed three year Community Development
Program and Housing Assistance Plan and authorizes the execution of
the application material and its transmittal to Hennepin County for
consideration as part of the Year VI Urban Hennepin County Community
Development Block Grant Application.
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Shorewood approves the final proposed use of the Year VI Community
Development Block Grant Funds as follows:
Housing Rehabilitation
Diseased Tree Removal
Housing Study
General Administration
