A RESOLUTION TO ALLOW ADMINISTRATOR, DOUGLAS
UHRHANMER EXCLUSION FROM PERA
WHEREAS, City Administrator Douglas Uhrhammer presently is a member of
Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA); and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood pays 5.5 % into PERA for each employee; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 254 of the Laws 1981 provides for City Managers or Chief
Administrative Officers to make application for exclusion from PERA member-
ship; and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood agrees to pay an amount equal to 5.5 % of
City Administrator Douglas Uhrhammer's yearly salary into a personal re-
tirement program for him, for as long as he is employed by the City of
Shorewood.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Shorewood hereby approves City Administrator Douglas Uhrhammer's applica-
tion for exclusion from PERA and requests reimbursement of funds placed in
PERA.
