AMESBURY ~STS:
Roy Stark representing the AmesbJry Association made a request to allow trained
personnel to use the hydrants to water all ccmnon areas in the developnent am to
fill the swimning pool oree a year with the expenses to be charged to the Associ-
ation. Council agreed to allow a yearly filling of the pool by the City personnel
am to charge the Association for time aId the water charged at the then current
rate. At the Engineer's recarmendation, the Council detennined that the hydrants
should' not be used for watering corilnon areas arrl directed Mr. Stark to arr~e
for watering these areas internally.. Council is in unanimous agreerrent.

MATTERS FRCM 1HE FLOOR: RESOLUl'ION NO.
Residents from Wedgewood Drive presented a request to have one or both S'IOP signs
removed at the- recently removed railroad tracks am to have them replaced with
SLGJ-cHIlDREN AT PLAY signs.
Gagne moved, Haugen seconded, to rerove the S'IOP signs arrl install SLGJ-cHILDREN
AT PLAY signs. M::>tion carried unanimously.
Request was made by Gordon Lindstrom of M:Lain Road to have the water main extended
to service M:Lain Road. Engineer Norton reconmended not to make extensions on a
"street by street" agreement but that larger areas should be serviced \\hen extension
to water systems are made.
ATIORNEY'S REPCRT:
Attorney for Robson Snyder of 19335 Shady Hills Road contacted Attorney Larson re-
garding the claim from sewage back-up. Attorney Larson referred him to insurance
carrier for City. '.
ENGINEER'S REPCRT:
'.. Gene Patch of 23930 Smithtown Road was present. This drainage problem matter was
tabled until Mr. Patch's attorney could be present.

the City was not responsible aId that it was up the property owner to correct the

The regular meeting of the Shorewood City Council was called to order by Mayor
Rascop at 7:35 P.M., 'fuesday, October 13, 1981, in the Council Chambers. .

A special meeting of the ShOrewood City Coonci1 was called to order by Mayor
Rascop at 5:52 P.M. on Wednesday, October 7, 1981, in the Council Chambers.

Attorney Larson reviewed for the Council steps necessary for the assignrrent of
assessment rolls to the Boulder Bridge Addition. Notification of the total
assessment~re given to Tom Warbnan, representative of Boulder Bridge assessments.
Norton explained the procedure for establishing the engineering costs. He felt
that due to the fact that the developer had had engineering work and cost
previously expensed that he (Tom Wartman) should receive SC>I'l'e consideration for
that cost.
Attorney Larson and Fngineer Norton recorrmended that the CoLmci1 accept the
indirect cost charge and total cost of all projects in the amount of $642,715.88
to be assigned to the assessment rolls.
Haugen roved, Shaw seconded, to approve the assessment rolls for Boulder Bridge
