RESOLUTION APPROVING PlANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERIN;
ADVERTISEl'1ENT FOR BIDS

WHEREAS, the city C::"lgineer has prepared plans and specifications with
reference to the improvement of all property included within and platted as
"Amesbury West", by the construction of stonn sewer, sanitary sewer, water
main, street paving, and appurtenant work, and has presented such plans and

specifications to the Council for approval,
NOW, lliEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by'the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk/Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertiserrent
for bids for the improvements - Project No. 80-3 - under such approved plans
and specification for Project No. 80-3. The advertisement shall be published
for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will
be received by the Clerk/Administrator' until 11:00 A.M. on Ma~. 22, 1981, at
which time they will be publicly opened by the Clerk/Administrator and
Engineer, and then will be tabulated and considered by the Council at 7: 30 P.M.
an June 1, 1981 in the Council Chambers and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the Clerk/Administrator and accompanied by a cash
)
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City for
5% of the arrount of such bid.
