RESOLUTION NO. 11-81
Resolution authorizing submission of the City of Shorewood Community
~ Development Program to Hennepin County for consideration as part of
the Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Applica-
tion, in accord with the Housing and Community Development Act of
1974, as amended.
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has executed a Cooperation
Agreement with Hennepin County agreeing to participate in the Urban
Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program, and
WHEREAS, a three-year Community Development Program and Housing
Assistance Plan was prepared for Program Years V, VI and VII consis-
tent with the Urban Hennepin County Comprehensive Community Develop-
ment Strategy and the Community Development Program Regulations, and
WHEREAS, the Year VII Community Development Program was developed
consistent with the Urban Hennepin County Comprehensive Community
Development Strategy and has been subject to citizen review pursuant
to the Urban Hennepin County Citizen Participation Plan,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Shorewood
~ approves the proposed Year VII Community Development Program and
authorizes application transmittal to Hennepin County for consideration
as part of the Year VII Urban Hennepin County Community Development
Block Grant Application.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood this 13th day
of April, 1981.
