RESOLUTION TO GRANT COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDER FOR PR'EPARATlPN
FOR ASSESSMENT. "
WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have/beep
determined for the sewer' and water .utilities, storm wate:r' run....off
utilities and street improvements for Amesbury West and that the
contract price for such improvement is $272,575.75 and t.hat the
expenses incurred in the making of such improvement amoqnt: to
$81,772.73, so that. the total cost of improvement ~illbe
$354,348.48.,)
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA: ,".
1. Portion of the costs of such improvem~nt be paid by the
City is hereby declared to be $ -0-, and that the portion of the
costs to be assessed to the benefitted property owners is declared to
be $354,348.48.
2. The City-Clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper
amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected
without regard to cash valuation as provided by law and she sh~ll
file a copy of such proposed assessment in her office for public
inspection. ,'. '
3. The City Clerk shall upon the completion of such
proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof.
