RESOLUTION NO. 3 -93 A RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER ARCHIVAL RECORDS TO THE STATE ARCHIVES OF THE MINNESOTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY WHEREAS, certain records no longer have administrative, fiscal or legal value for operations of the City of Shorewood; and WHEREAS, records storage space is in short supply in the City of Shorewood City Hall; and WHEREAS, records with archival value are eligible for transfer to the state Archives of the Minnesota Historical Society; and WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has adopted the General Records Retention Schedule for Cities, Resolution No. 67-81 and Resolution No. 5-92 which establishes minimum retention periods for City records based on their administrative, legal, fiscal and historical value. THEREFORE, in accordance with the General Records Retention Schedule for Cities, the City of Shorewood authorizes transfer of the records listed on Attachment A to the State Archives of the Minnesota Historical Society.
