RESOLUTION NO. 11 - 93 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A SINGLE POLLING PLACE FOR THE MARCH 9, 1993 SPECIAL ELECTION BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Shorewood, Hennepin County, Minnesota (City) in regular meeting assembled: 1. The City Council hereby finds and determines: (a) That the City is authorized by the provisions of Minnesota Statutes Section 204B.16 to designate a single, accessible, centrally located polling place. (b) For purposes of the March 9, 1993 special election it is in the best interest of the City to designate a single, accessible, centrally located polling place where all of the voters of the City shall cast their ballots. (c) The City does hereby designate the Shorewood City Hall located at 5755 Country Club Road, Shorewood, Minnesota, as that single polling place for the special election to be held March 9, 1993. (d) A single board of election judges shall be appointed to serve at this polling place. (e) Separate ballot boxes shall be provided and separate returns made for each precinct in the City. 2. The designation of this single polling place shall be effective only for the special election held March 9, 1993. Thereafter, the polling places shall be at those locations within the precincts as established for the last general election.
