RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE MODIFICATIONS TO
LIFT STATIONS 5 & 6, AND APPURTENANT WORK
CITY OF SHOREWOOD
CITY PROJECT NO. 91-3
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has entered into a contract with New Mech
Incorporated for the Modifications to Lift Stations 5 & 6; and
WHEREAS, a final inspection has been made by the City Engineer pursuant to
paragraph 43 of the General Conditions of said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that:
The City does hereby accept the work completed pursuant to said contract and the one
year guarantee provided for in section 57 of the General Conditions shall commence as
of the date of this resolution, subject to the following to items:
1. The contractor must make satisfactory showing that he has complied with
the provisions of Minnesota Statues 290.92 requiring withholding state
income tax; and
2. Evidence in the form of an affidavit that all claims against the contractor
by reasons of the contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, of the City of Shorewood, this 26th day of
October, 1992.
