RESOLUTION NO. 115 -91
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR
PROJECT NO. 91-11 WATERMAIN, STREET CONSTRUCTION
AND RELATED WORK, PINE BEND AND HOWARDS POINT ROADS
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by
law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections
to the proposed assessment for the local improvement designated as
Project No. 91-11 and described as Watermain, Stree Construction
and Related Work, pine Bend and Howards Point Roads,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. Such proposed special assessments, copies of which are
attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby accepted and
shall constitute the special assessments against the lands named
herein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to
be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the
assessment levied against it.

2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual
installments extending over a period of 10 years and shall bear
interest at the rate of 7.50 percent per annum from the date of the
adoption of this assessment resolution.
3. The owner of any property' so assessed may pay the whole of
the assessment against any parcel to the City of Shorewood without
interest if payment is made prior to December 2, 1991. After
December 2, 1991, following the date of the assessment, the first
year's installment shall be added to the taxes for the year's tax
list and collected as taxes with interest accruing from the date of
assessment through December 31 of the following year. All payments
thereafter shall be in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes section 429.061, Subd. 3.
4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate
of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the
proper tax lists for the County, and such assessments shall be
collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal
taxes.
Adopted by the city Council of the City of Shorewood,
Minnesota, this 4th day of November, 1991.
