RESOLUTION NO. 106-91
RESOLUTION RESCHEDULING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR PROJECT NO. 91-11, WATERMAIN
EXTENSION, STREET CONSTRUCTION AND APPURTENANT WORK,
PINE BEND AND HOWARDS POINT ROADS
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 101-91 setting
a public hearing to specially assess the costs of a local
improvement known as Project No. 91-11 and described as Watermain
Extension, Street Construction and Appurtenant Work, pine Bend and
Howards Point Roads, and,
WHEREAS, it is not feasible to hold the public hearing on the
date and time specified in that resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Shorewood that:
1. The public hearing set to be held on the 28th day of
October, 1991, in the City Hall at 7:15 p.m., to pass upon proposed
assessments for Project No. 91-11, Watermain Extension, street
Construction and Appurtenant Work, pine Bend and Howards Point
Roads is hereby rescheduled to Monday, November 4, 1991, in the
City Hall, at 6:30 p.m. At such time and place all persons owning
property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity
to be heard with reference to such assessments.
2. The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to cause
a notice of the public hearing on the proposed assessments to be
published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior
to the hearing, and state in the assessment notice the total cost
of the improvement. The City Administrator/Clerk shall also cause
mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in
the assessment roll and to provide each property owner with all the
information required by Minnesota statutes, Section 429.061.
3. The City Administrator/Clerk shall have the assessment
roll available for public inspection at the City Hall during
regular business hours.
