RESOLUTION NO. 60-91
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF
"NO PARKING" SIGNS ON BROMS BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, Shorewood City Code Section 801.01 adopts
provisions of the Minnesota State Traffic Code, M. S.
Chapter 169 (as amended), which Chapter provides that local
authorities may place and maintain such traffic control
devices upon highways under their jurisdiction as they deem
necessary to regulate, warn, or guide traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Council has made a determination that such
traffic control devices are necessary on both sides of Broms
Boulevard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Public Works Department is hereby directed
to erect "No Parking" signs on both sides of Broms Boulevard
along the entire length of the street.
2. That these traffic regulations shall become
effective at the time of the erection of said "No Parking"
signs.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this
10th day of June, 1991.
