91-054 4- . . . 5/21/91 RESOLUTION NO. 54-91 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT F0R SHADY HILLS DRAINAGE SYSTEM WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local improvements designated as Shady Hills Storm Sewer Improvements, City Project No. 91-1, bids were received, opened on 4 April 1991, and tabulated according to law, and such tabulation is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Widmer, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood as follows: 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Widmer, Inc., in the name of the City of Shorewood, Project No. 91-1, according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except for the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest bidder, which shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
