RESOLUTION NO. 9-90
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF
"NO PARKING" SIGNS ON THE SERVICE ROAD
FOR TRUNK HIGHWAY NO.7
WHEREAS, Shorewood City Code Section 801.01 adopts prOV1SlOns of
the Minnesota State Traffic Code, M. S. Chapter 169 (as amended), which
Chapter provides that local authorities may place and maintain such
traffic control devices upon highways under their jurisdiction as they
deem necessary to regulate, warn, or guide traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Council has made a determination that such traffic
control devices are necessary on a certain portion of the north service
road of Trunk Highway No.7.
NOW, T HEREFO RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Public Works Department is hereby directed to erect
"No Parking" signs on both sides of the service road north of Trunk
Highway No. 7 between Lake Linden Drive and State Highway No. 41.
2. T hat these traffic regulations shall become effective at the
time of the erection of said "No Parking" signs.
