RESOLUTION NO. 18-90
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
A FEASIBILITY REPORT ON WATER TREATMENT PLANT FOR
SOUTHEAST AREA TRUNK WATER SYSTEM
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct a water treatment plant for
the Southeast Area Trunk Water System as a local improvement and to assess
the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429.
NOW, T HEREFO RE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Shorewood, Minnesota, as follows:
That the proposed improvement be referred to Associated
Consultants Engineers, Inc., for study and that they are instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as
to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended. T he cost of such study shall not exceed the sum of
$3,500.00.
