RESOLUTION NO. 118-90
A RESOLUTION NAMING NEW BALLFIELDS
FREEMAN PARK
WHEREAS, William Keeler was instrumental in establishing the
Shorewood Park Commission; and
WHEREAS, William F. Kelly contributed twenty-five (25) years of
service to the parks; and
WHEREAS, Gordon Lindstrom is the City's longest serving Park
Commissioner, having served since January 13, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to express its appreciation for the
time and effort of these individuals in their participation in the park
program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
T hat the three new ballfields at Freeman Park be named:
Keeler Field
Kelly Field
Lindstrom Field
in honor of William Keeler, William F. Kelly, and Gordon Lindstrom.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
