RESOLUTION NO. 101-QO
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE
FREEMAN PARK IRRIGATION SYSTEM
PROJECT NO. 90PK-1
WHEREAS, pursuant to an invitation for bids for the Freeman Park
Irrigation System, bids were received, opened on September 7, 1990, and
tabulated according to law, as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and
made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the bids have been reviewed and analyzed by the City Park
Planner in his memorandum to the City Council of September 7, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that alternate bid of
Showcase Landscaping & Irrigation is the lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Showcase Landscaping &
Irrigation in the name of the City of Shorewood, according to the bid and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council on file in the office of
the City Administrator/Clerk, for the sum of $37,877 .00.
2. That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their
bids, except for the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest
bidder, which shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
