RESOLUTION NO. 83 -90
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE ERECTION OF
STOP SIGNS ON
MA YFLOWER ROAD AND MURRAY HILL ROAD
WHEREAS, Shorewood City Code Section 801.01 adopts the prOV1Slons
of the Minnesota State Traffic Code, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 169 (as
amended), which Chapter provides that local authorities may place and
maintain such traffic control devices upon highways under their
jurisdiction as they deem necessary to regulate, warn, or guide traffic;
and
WHEREAS, the Council has made a determination that such traffic
control devices are necessary on Mayflower Road and Murray Hill Road in
order to regulate, warn and guide traffic on said roads.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Public Works Department is hereby directed to erect
stop signs on Mayflower Road at its intersection with Galpin Lake Road and
at its intersection with Chaska Road, and on Murray Hill Road at its
in tersection with C haska Road, in appropriately visible locations.
2. That this traffic regulation shall become effective at the
time of erection of said signs.
