RESOLUTION NO. 78-90
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AN OFFICIAL DEPOSITORY
FOR CITY FUNDS
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 1-90, passed January 8, 1990, the
Shorewood City Council designated certain official depositories for City
funds, including "other Depositories as necessary." and
WHEREAS, the Council now wishes to designate an additional
depository for City funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That First State Bank of New Germany, 270 Broadway, New
Germany, Minnesota 55367, is hereby designated as a depository for the
funds of the City; and the Mayor, City Administrator/Clerk, Deputy Clerk,
Treasurer, and any other person hereinafter named is hereby authorized for
and on behalf of the City to open or continue an account or accounts with
said Bank and to execute and deliver to said Bank signature card or cards
supplied by said Bank containing specimen signatures of officers or other
persons hereinafter named and assenting to said Bank's Rules and
Regulations Governing Bank Accounts, and that any of the above persons or
other person hereinafter named is hereby authorized for and on behalf of
the City to endorse or cause to be endorsed and to deposit or cause to be
deposited in such account or accounts from time to time checks, drafts and
other instruments and funds payable to or held by the City.
2. That checks, drafts and other withdrawal orders and any and
all other directions and instructions of any character with respect to
funds now or hereafter with said Bank may be signed by any two of the
following, providing that one signatory shall be the Mayor.

Laurence E. Whittaker, City Administrator/Clerk
Sandra L. Kennelly, Deputy Clerk
Alan J. Rolek, Treasurer
3. That anyone of the above persons is authorized to transfer
funds between accounts maintained in the name of the City of Shorewood.
4. That said Bank shall be entitled to rely upon a certified
copy of this Resolution until written notice of modification or rescission
has been furnished to and received by said Bank.

5 . T hat this designation shall take effect on the date hereof
and shall continue for the remainder of the year or until such time as
rescinded by the City Council.
