RESOLUTION NO. 62-90
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE ERECTION OF
FOUR-WAY STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION OF
NEAR MOUNTAIN BOULEVARD AND McKINLEY PLACE
WHEREAS, Shorewood City Code Section 801.01 adopts the prOV1Slons
of the Minnesota State Traffic Code, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 169 (as
amended), which Chapter provides that local authorities may place and
maintain such traffic control devices upon highways under their
jurisdiction as they deem necessary to regulate, warn, or guide traffic;
and
WHEREAS, the Council has made a determination that such traffic
control devices are necessary at the intersection of Near Mountain
Boulevard and McKinley Place in order to regulate, warn and guide traffic
on said roads.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Public Works Department is hereby directed to erect
four-way stop signs on Near Mountain Boulevard and McKinley Place at their
intersection in appropriately visible locations.
2. That this traffic regulation shall become effective at the
time of erection of said signs.
ADTOPED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Shorewood this
9th day of July, 1990.
