RESOLUTION NO. 53-90
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AGENCY AGREEMENT WITH
THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood finds it advantageous and
cost-effective to enter into this agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That pursuant to section 161.36, Subdivision 1 through 6, Minnesota
Statutes, the Canmissioner of Transporation be appointed as agent of the
City of Shorewood to let as its agent, contracts for the construction of
local roads and bridge, and contracts for various equipment purchases, and
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
for and on behalf of the City to execute and enter into a contract with
the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing the terms and conditions of
such contracts in the form as set forth and contained in "Minnesota
Department of Transportation Agency Agreement" a copy of which said
agreemtn was before the City Council, assuming on behalf of the City all
of the obligations therein contained.
