RESOLUTION NO. 50-90 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CERTAIN TAX FORFEITED LAND BE SOLD TO MINNETONKA PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 45-90, passed on 14 May 1990, the Shorewood City Council requested certain tax forfeited property bearing PID No. 32-117-23-24-0011 be transferred to the City to be used for a public purpose; and WHEREAS, Minnetonka Public School District, Independent School District No. 276, has requested that the said tax forfeited property be made available to the school district for enlargement of the elementary school campus known as Minnewashta Elementary School; and WHEREAS, the school district has agreed to pay to the State of Minnesota through Hennepin County Tax Forfeiture Office the approved value of the property, plus transfer costs, in return for a tax title deed of transfer for the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood as follows: 1. That the City of Shorewood hereby requests Hennepin County to sell the following tax-forfeited land to Minnetonka Public School District, Independent School District 276: The East 50 feet of the West 478.5 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of the North west 1/4 of Section 32, Township 117, Range 23, also that part of the East 115 feet of the West 428.5 feet of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 lying North of the South 378.78 feet thereof; also, that part of the East 264 feet of the West 742.5 feet of said Southeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 lying North of the South 330 feet thereof Ex Rd. PID No. 32-117-23-24-0011 2. T hat said property be sold for the approved value and that the school district pay all transfer costs. 3. T hat a certified copy of this resolution be transmitted herewith to the Hennepin County Commissioners. ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT 11th day of June, 1990. ~". TEST: C WI.
