RESOLUTION NO. 39-90 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR COMPUTER SYSTEM WHEREAS, pursuant to an invitation for bids for computer hardware, software and support system for City Offices, bids were received, opened on March 5, 1990, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received in response to this invitation: Computoservice, Inc. Business Records Corp. Banyon Data Systems NCR Alpha Soft, Inc. Precision Computer Systems, Inc. $ 49,973.00 $ 41,866.00 $ 46,910.00 $ 75,769.00 $ 72,389.00 $ 58,948.00 and WHEREAS, the bids have been reviewed and analyzed by the City Finance Officer in his memorandum to the City Council of May 11, 1990; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Precision Computer Systems, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder, taking into consideration the quality, suitability and adaptability of the equipment for the use for which it is intended. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood as follows: 1. That the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Precision Computer Systems, Inc., in the name of the City of Shorewood, according to the bid and specifications therefor approved by the City Council on file in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk, for the sum of $58,948.00. 2. That the City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except for the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest bidder, which shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
