RESOLUTION NO. 29-90
A RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
DESIGNATION AND ESTABLISHMENT BY THE CITY OF
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1; AND THE EST ABLISHMENT
OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO.1, LOCATED
WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1; AND THE APPROVAL
AND ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1 INCLUDING
TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX INCREMENT
FIN ANCING DIST RIC T NO. 1
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on Monday, April 23,
1990, at approximately 8:00 p. m., to hold a public hearing on the
following matters:
(a) the proposed designation and establishment of Development
District No.1;
(b) the proposed establishment of T ax Increment Financing
District No.1, located within Development District No.1;
and
(c) the approval and adoption of the Development District
Program For Development District No. 1 Including Tax
Increment Financing Plan for T ax Increment Financing
District No.1,
all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections
469.124 - .134, inclusive, as amended, and Minnesota Statutes, Sections
469.174 - .179, inclusive, as amended.
2. Notice of Hearing: Filing of Program. The City Clerk is
authorized and directed to cause notice of the hearing, substantially in
the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be given as required by law, to
place a copy of the proposed Development District Program For Development
District No. 1 Including Tax Increment Financing Plan For Tax Increment
Financing District No. 1 on file in the Clerk's Office at City Hall and to
make such copy available for inspection by the public.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF SHOREWOOD
COUNTY OF HENNEPIN
STATE OF MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the "Council")
of the City of Shorewood, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota,
will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 23, 1990, at
approximately 8:00 p.m. at City Hall, 5755 Country Club Road,
Shorewood, Minnesota, relating to the proposed designation and
establishment of Development District No.1, the proposed
establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No.1, located
within Development District No.1, and the approval and adoption
of the development program for Development District No. 1 and the
tax increment financing plan for Tax Increment Financing District
No.1, all pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 - .134,
inclusive, as amended, and Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 -
.179, inclusive, as amended. A copy of the Development District
Program For Development District No. 1 Including Tax Increment
Financing Plan For Tax Increment Financing District No.1, as
proposed to be adopted, is on file and available for public
. inspection at the office of the Clerk at City Hall.
The property proposed to be included in Development District
No. 1 is as follows:
That part of Sections 25 and 36, Township 117, Range
23 (platted and unplatted) in the City of Shorewood,
Hennepin County, Minnesota lying within and bounded
by the following described line:

Commencing at the intersection of the east line of
said Section 25 and the centerline of State Trunk
Highway No.7; thence south along the east line of
said Section 25 and Section 36 (said line also being
the centerline of Vine Hill Road and the easterly
boundary of Shorewood) to the southwesterly right
of way line of Covington Road extended; thence
northwesterly along said southwesterly right of way
line extended and said southwesterly right of way
line to the south right of way line of said Highway
No.7; thence westerly and southwesterly along said
south right of way line of Radisson Road to the
southeasterly extension of the southwesterly line
of Lot 24, Radisson Inn Addition, according to the
record plat thereof; thence northwesterly along said
southwesterly line and its extensions to the north
right of way line of said Highway No.7; thence
northeasterly along said north right of way line to
the east line of the west half of the southeast

Financing District No. 1 is as follows:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter, Section 25, Township 117, Range 23, lying
South of a line extending from a point on the West
line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter, distant 591.42 feet North from the
Southwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of the
Southeast Quarter to a point on the East line of
said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter,
distant 1236.14 feet North from the Southeast corner
of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter,
according the the Government survey thereof.
