RESOLUTION NO. 81 -89
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR
FREEMAN PARK BALLFIELD FENCING
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for ballfield
fencing, bids were received, opened on September 25, 2989, and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement as follows:

Finley Brothers Enterprises $43,594.80 $58,119.90
Fenc-co Inc. $47,496.90 $71,414.30
Midwest Fence & Mfg. $47,911. 70 $71,110.60
Crowley Fence $52,863.80 $79,255.40
Century Fence Co. $55,974.90 $72,197.50
WHEREAS, it appears that Alternative 1 bid by Finley Brothers
Enterprises is the lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the City accept Alternative 1 bid of Finley Brothers
Enterprises in the amount of $43,594.80, according to the specifications
therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the
City Clerk.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until delivery and installation of said ballpark fencing
has been completed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Shorewood this 25th day of
September, 1989.
