RESOLUTION NO. 12-89
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE-TON FOUR WHEEL DRIVE TRUCK
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for one-ton four
wheel drive truck, bids were received, opened on January 20, 1989, and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement as follows:
Boyer Ford Trucks
Lakeland Truck Center
Tonka Ford
$ 16,389.00
NO BID
$ 17,885.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Boyer Ford Trucks is the lowest
responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications~ and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the City accept the alternative bid of Boyer Ford Trucks
in the amount of $16,389.00, according to the specifications therefor
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until delivery and acceptance of said one-ton four wheel
drive truck has been completed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Shorewood this 23d day of
