RESOLUTION NO. 148-88
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF
"NO PARKING" SIGNS ON THE OUTSIDE OF MUIRFIELD CIRCLE
WHEREAS, Shorewood City Code Section 801.01 adopts prOV1S1ons of
the Minnesota State Traffic Code, M.S. Chapter 169 (as amended), which
Chapter provides that local authorities may place and maintain such
traffic control devices upon highways under their jurisdiction as they
deem necessary to regulate, wam, or guide traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Council has made a determination that such traffic
control devices are necessary on Muirfield Circle in the subdivision of
Waterford.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Public Works Department is hereby directed to erect
"No Parking" signs on the outside of Muirfield Circle in an appropriately
visible location.
2. That such "No Parking" signs shall further state that no
parking shall be permitted Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
3. That these traffic regulations shall become effective at the
time of the erection of said "No Parking" signs.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 14th day of
November, 1988.
