RESOLUTION 144-88
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A DEVELOPMENT STAGE APPROVAL OF THE
PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT KNOWN AS
BAYWOOD SHOPS
WHEREAS, Dreher Associates (the Applicant) obtained a Conditional
Use Permit and General Concept Plan Approval for a PUD known as Baywood
Shops by resolution of the Shorewood City Council on , 1988;
and
WHEREAS, said approval was granted subject to certain terms and
conditions, one of which Nas the requirement that Applicant file a
development stage plan within six (6) months after approval of the Concept
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Applicants' development stage plan has been reviewed
by the City Planner, whose comments and recommendations have been duly set
forth in a memorandum to the Planning Commission, Mayor, and City Council
dated 25 October 1988, which memorandum is on file at City Hall; and
WHEREAS, the said development stage plan was reviewed by the
Shorewood Planning Commission on 1 November 1988, and the Commission voted
to recommend approval of the plan subject to certain conditions.
NOW, THEREFO RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
S horewood as follows:
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. That Applicant has revised its site plan to meet the parking
lot setbacks and reduced driveways from three to two.
2. That Applicant has complied with the requirements of
development stage plan approval.
3. That issues remaining to be resolved include grading and
drainage, as determined by the City Engineer.

CONCLUSIONS
T hat the development stage plan submitted by A pplicants is hereby
approved, subject to the following conditions:
1. That the concerns of the City Engineer relative to drainage
be resolved satisfactorily.
2. That all recommendations set forth in the Planner's
memorandum of 25 October 1988 be fully complied with.
3. That the Applicant prepare a final plan for approval by the
City Engineer addressing the issues raised herein.
4. T hat upon receipt and approval of the final plan, the staff
and City Attorney are hereby directed to prepare a Development Agreement
containing the terms and conditions approved by the City Council and
accepted by the Applicant for the development of the PUD.
