RESOLUTION NO. 135-88
A RESOLUTION APPROVING RENEWAL OF CITY INSURANCE AGREEMENT
WITH NORTH STAR RISK SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has in the past contracted with
North Star Risk Services through the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance
Trust to provide complete insurance coverage for the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has reviewed programs offered by
other insurance carriers and has determined that the program offered by
North Star Risk Services best suits the City's requirement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the City renew its contract with North Star Risk
Services through the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust to provide
coverage from November 1, 1988, to November 1, 1989, for the total sum of
$69,045.50.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute on behalf of the Shorewood City Council any documents which may be
necessary to obtain such insurance coverage.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 24th day of
October, 1988.
