RESOLUTICN AUIlDRIZING '!HE EXECUI'ICN OF A OCNSENr AGREBVIENr

WHERFAS, the Ci ty of Shorewood and the Ci ty of Minnetrista are
Plaintiffs in an action against the Suburban Hennepin Regional Park
District; and
WHERFAS, the Ci ty of Shorewood and the Ci ty of Minnetrista are
represented in such Ii tigation by the law firm of Briggs and lVbrgan, P.A.;
and
WHERFAS, the MetropoIi tan Council has sought to intervene as a
party in the action; and
WHERFAS, the firm of Briggs and lVbrgan is also the bond counsel
for the Metropol i tan Counci I; and
WHERFAS, the parties have been asked to enter into a Consent
Agreement permi t ting Briggs and lVbrgan to cont inue represent ing the
Plaintiffs, notwithstanding its representation of the Metropolitan Council
as bond counsel.
l'OV, 'lHEREFrnE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Ci ty of Shorewood hereby agrees that the firm of
Briggs and lVbrgan shall continue to represent the City in the action
against the Suburban .Hennepin Regional Park District providing the City of
Minnetrista also agrees to continue being represented by the firm of
Briggs and lVbrgan.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute the Consent Agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof.
