RESOLUTION NO. 106-88
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING A COMPARABLE WORTH STUDY
COMPLETED BY LAB 0 R RELATIONS ASSOCIA TES, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has received a Comparable Worth
Study completed by Labor Relations Associates, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has reviewed the Study and
recommended that the Study be approved without any changes; and
WHEREAS, the Council had some reservations concerning the Study
and the conclusions reached therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
S horewood as follows:
1. That the City Council hereby approves the said Comparable
Worth Study and adopts the plan as set forth therein.
2. T hat a letter be submitted with the plan setting forth the
City's objections to certain elements of the Study which the Council feels
ties the City's hands in dealing with the employment marketplace.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 26th day of
September, 1988.
