WHEREAS, Evelyn Beck was employed as Finance Director by the Ci ty
of Shorewood conmencing March 7, 1983; and
WHEREAS, said employment wi th the Ci ty of Shorewood was
tenninated on May 24, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Evelyn Beck and the Ci ty wish to stipulate and agree to
the tenus and condit ions of said tenninat ion.
r-ov, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Counci I of the Ci ty of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the tenus and condi tions governing the tennination of
Evelyn Beck from employment with the City of Shorewood are set forth in
the Tennination Agreement and Stipulation of Settlement attached hereto as
Exhibi t A.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authori zed to
execute the said Stipulation on behalf of the City Council.

TERMINATION AGREEMENT
AND
STIPULATION OF SETTLEMENT
EVELYN BECK, Employee, 3636 Hazelmoor Place, Minnetonka, Minnesota,
and
CITY OF SHOREWOOD, Employer, 5755 Country Club Road, Shorewood,
Minnesota,
Agree as follows:
1. Employee was employed as Finance Director of Employer from
March 7, 1983 to May 24, 1988;
2. Employer agrees to pay a total termination amount computed as
follows:
Salary $2,751 per month for 3 months $ 8,253.00
Pera $ 117 per month for 3 months 351.00
Insurance $ 232 per month for 3 months 696.00
Vacation $ 15.87 per hour for 6 days 761. 76
. $ 10,061.76
3. The termination amount will be paid to Employee in the gross
amount less any unemployment compensation received by Employee to the
date of payment. Employee has received $250 on each of 6/24/88,
6/29/88, and 7/6/88, for a total of $750. Employee waives all right
to further unemployment compensation eligibility now or in the future
as the result of her past employment with the City of Shorewood under
Employer Account #7990039000.
4. Neither party, by agreeing to this stipulation, admits any
wrongdoing during the course of the employment or termination thereof.
5. Each party releases and discharges the other party from any
and all claims arising out of the employment and termination.
6. The parties agree that the agreement and stipulation will be a
matter of public record but that each party, its or her employees,
agent, officials or representatives will refrain from comment about
the terms of the agreement, the discussions, motives, facts or truth
or untruth of assertions leading to the termination. It is understood
the agreement is a settlement of disputed claims viewed variously by
the parties and their agents.

7. Employer agrees anyone requesting information on Employee's
job will be informed of the position held and the date of beginning
and end thereof without further comment as a matter of general policy
for all such requests. However, each party contemplates Employer
will also comply with the Minnesota public information and data
privacy acts.
