RESOLUI'ICN AOCEPI'ING BID FOR WATERVJAIN, PARKING IDI' SURFACING,
AND APPURrENANr \\O.RK Fat FREEVJAN PARK PROJECT #88-2
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local
improvements designated as the 1988 Freeman Park Project #88-2, bids were
received, opened on July 11, 1988, and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
T & S Excavating
o & P Contracting
Sullivan Services, Inc.
Northdale Construction Co.
$ 75,777.70
$ 86,804.60
$ 107,350.90
$ 130,721. 25
WHEREAS, the Ci ty Counci I has determined that T & S Excavating is
the lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications.
NlV, 'IHEREFtEE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood as follows:
1. Tha t the Mayor and Ci ty CI erk are hereby authori zed and
directed to enter into contract with T & S Excavating in the name of the
City of Shorewood for Project #88-2, according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
2. That the Ci ty Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
