RESOLurICN 00. 44-88 RESOLurICN .AOCEPrING BID F<E 1988 SANITARY SEWER MAINTENANCE \\OOK WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for certain sanitary sewer maintenance work, bids were received, opened on May 6, 1988, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Vendor Bid Security Total Bid Municipal Pipe Tool Company 5% - Merchants $ 39,730.00 $ 34,805.00 Visu-Sewer Clean & Seal, Inc. 5% - Wausau WHEREAS, the Ci ty Counci I has determined that Visu-Sewer Clean & Seal, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the specifica t ions. IDV, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the City accept the bid of Visu-Sewer Clean & Seal, Inc., according to the specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an Agreement with the bidder for the performance of such work. 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the deposit of the successful bidder, which shall be retained until delivery of said services has been satisfactorily performed or a performance bond has been furni shed in I ieu thereof.
