WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a new durrp
truck, bids were received, opened on April 8, 1988, and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received canplying wi th the
advertisement:
Boyer Ford Trucks, Inc.
North Star International Trucks,
Astleford International Corrpany,
Lake I and Ford Truck Sales, Inc.
$ 49,818.00
Inc. $ 50,082.00
Inc. $ 50,728.00
(did not meet specifications)
WHEREAS, the Ci ty Counci I has determined that Boyer Ford Trucks,
Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder in canpliance with the
speci ficat ions.
NlV, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the Ci ty accept the bid of Boyer Ford Trucks, Inc.,
according to the specifications therefor approved by the City Council and
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
the deposit of the successful bidder, which shall be retained until
delivery and acceptance of said new durrp truck has been canpleted.
