RESOLUl'IOO VACATING CElITAIN DRAINAGE AND Ul'ILI1Y EASE1VJENI'S
WHEREAS, Notice of a Public Hearing on the proposed vacation of
certain drainage and utility easements in the City of Shorewood, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, was published in the Excelsior and Shorewood edition of
the SAIIDR NEWSPAPERS on the 21st and 28th days of March, 1988; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Public Hearing was posted in three (3)
locations in the City of Shorewood; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Shorewood heard all
interested parties on the question of vacation at a Public Hearing on the
11th day of April, 1988, in the Council Chambers at the City Hall.
N:lV, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that the following drainage and utility easements be
and hereby are vacated:
That part of the platted drainage and utility easements adjoining
the following lines:
(i) The coornon line between Lot 1, Block 2, amS'INUI' RI~ AT
NEAR lVIXJNrAIN 91H ADDITIOO, according to the recorded plat
thereof, and Lot 16, Block 1, McKINLEY PLACE AT NEAR lVIXJNrAIN
2ND ADDITIOO, according to the plat thereof; (ii) the coornon
line between Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, said amsTNUT RI~ AT
NEAR lVUJNrA.IN 91H ADDITIOO; and (i ii) the coornon I ine between
said Lot 2, Block 2, amS'INUI' RI~ AT NEAR lVIXJNI'AIN 91H
AIDITIOO and said Lot 16, Block 1, McKINLEY PLACE AT NEAR
lVIXJNrAIN 2ND AIDITIOO;
which lie southwesterly of a line parallel with and 10.00 feet
southwesterly of the following described line:
Commencing at the most westerly corner of said Lot 1, Block 2,
amS'INUI' RI~ AT NEAR lVIXJNrAIN 91H AIDITIOO, according to the
recorded plat thereof; thence northeasterly a distance of
50.00 feet along the northwesterly line of said Lot 1, Block
2, ClIES'INUI' RI~ AT NEAR lVDUNrAIN 91H ADDITIOO, according to
the recorded plat thereof, to the point of beginning of the
line to be described; thence southeasterly to the southwest
corner of said Lot 16, Block 2, McKINLEY PLACE AT NEAR
lVIXJNrAIN 2ND ADDITIrn and said line there terminating.
And which lies southeasterly of the platted drainage & utility
easements adjoining the northwesterly lines of Lots 1 and 2,
Block 2, amS'INUI' RI~ AT NEAR lVIX.JNrAIN 91H ADDITIOO,
according to the recorded plat thereof.

BE IT FURlHER RESOLVED, that the Ci ty Clerk is directed to not ify
the County Offices in accordance with Minnesota Statutes.
