PARK RESERVE DISlRICl' IO\RD MElVBERS
WHEREAS, Senator Gen Olson has introduced SF 2341, a bill
amending Minnesota Statutes 1986, Section 383B.68, Subdivision 1,
Subdivision 3, Subdivision 4, and Section 383.69 and repealing Section
383B.68, Subdivision 2, all concerning the number and manner of selection
of Hennepin County Park Reserve District Comnissioners; and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has an interest in the manner in
which Hennepin County Park Reserve District Comnissioners are selected.
NlV, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood as follows:
1. Tha t the Ci ty Counc i I 0 f the Ci ty 0 f Shorewood hereby
supports the proposed amendments contained in SF 2341 concerning the
number and manner of selection of Hennepin County Park Reserve District
Comnissioners.
2. That a copy of this resolution be transmitted through
appropriate channels to the Legislature of the State of Minnesota.
