A RESOLurICN APPROVINl1HE RECDWEYANCE OF CEIn'AIN PARCELS OF
TAX- FORFEITED LAND
WHEREAS, the Ci ty Counci I of the Ci ty of Shorewood has determined
that certain tax-forfeited parcels of land are no longer needed for City
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to return such parcel of land to the
tax rolls; and
WHEREAS, the owners of land adjoining the subject parcels have
indicated their desire to acquire such parcels.
~, lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the following parcels of land be reconveyed to the State
of Minnesota for sale at auction to adjoining property owners, pursuant to
M.S. ~282.01, Subd. 7a; that said parcels of land cannot be improved
because they do not corrply with the minimum area requirements of the
Shorewood City Code and therefore qualify for non-public auction.
(See attached Exhibit A)
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute all documents required to accorrplish said procedure.
