RESOLUTION ACCEPTING SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO
DIESEL POWERED SINGLE AXLE DUMP TRUCKS AND ONE
TRACTOR-LOADER-BACKHOE
The Shorewood City Council
of the 1987 General Fund
September of 1986 for the
and
included funds in its approval
budget which was adopted in
purchase of certain equipment;
Said equipment is to be purchased for use in the Public
Works Department; and
Said equipment to be purchased includes two diesel powered
single axle dump trucks with plows and sanders and one
tractor-loader-backhoe; and
Inclusion of the equipment purchase in the adopted 1987
General Fund has been interpreted as direction to prepare
specifications for said equipment; and
Said specifications have been prepared and are recommended
for approval.
~ .~OW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, that:

ATTEST:
1. Such specifications for the purchase of two diesel powered
single axle dump trucks with plow and sanders and one
tractor-loader-backhoe are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in
the official papers and in "Construction Bulletin" an
advertisement for bids upon the purchase of such equipment
under such approved specifications. The advertisement
shall be published for one day, shall specify the
equipment to be purchased, shall state that bids will be
received by the Clerk until 10:00 A.M., on April 3, 1987,
for the tractor-loader-backhoe and until 10:30 A.M., on
April 3, 1987, for the two diesel powered single axle dump
trucks with plows and sanders, at which time they will be
publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
by the City Clerk and Public Works Director, will then be
tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at 7: 30
P.M. on April 13, 1987, in the Council Chambers, and that
no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's
check, bid bond of certifed check payable to the Clerk for
5 percent of the amount of such bid.
