AND ORDERING ADVERrISE.\1ENl' FOR BIDS FOR a:NSTRUcrIrn OF
SIDRF.WXD QL\KS DEVEIDHVIENI' PROJEcr #87-1
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council
on February 23, 1987, the City Engineer has prepared plans and
specifications for the construction of local improvements known as
Shorewood Oaks Development Project #87-1 to include trunk watermain,
utility, street construction and appurtenant work, and has presented such
plans and specifications to the City Council for approval.
:tOY, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in "Construction Bulletin" an advertisement for bids
upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and
specifications. The advertisement shall be published for one day, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the
Clerk until 11:30 a.m., on April 27 , 1987, at which time they will be
pub I icly opened in the Council Chambers of the City Hall by the Ci ty Clerk
and Engineer, wi 11 then be tabulated, and wi 11 be considered by the
Council at 7:30 -a~ffi~ (p.m.) on April 27 , 1987, in the Council
Chambers, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, big bond or
certified check payable to the Clerk for five (5)per cent of the amount of
such bid.
