WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for one
tractor-loader-backhoe, bids were received, opened on April 3, 1987, and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, the Ci ty Council has determined that the bid of
Kortuem's Sales Service Rental, Inc., does not comply with the
specifications or equivalent thereof; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Long Lake Ford Tractor, Inc., is the
lowest responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications.
NlV, lliEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. The City accept the bid of Long Lake Ford Tractor, Inc.,
according to the specifications therefor approved by the City Council and
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the
deposit of the successful bidder, which shall be retained until delivery
and acceptance of said tractor-loader-backhoe has been completed.
