WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for two diesel
powered single-axle durp trucks, bids were received, opened on April 3,
1987, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:
Boyer Trucks, Inc.
$104,756.00
$104,722.00
$108,684.00
North Star International Trucks, Inc.
Astleford International Co., Inc.
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the bid of North
Star International Trucks, Inc., does not comply with the specifications
or equivalent thereof; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Boyer Trucks, Inc., is the lowest
responsible bidder in compliance with the specifications.
Nl\1, 'llIEREKRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Counci I of the Ci ty of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. The City accept the bid of Boyer Trucks, Inc., according to
the specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except the
deposit of the successful bidder, which shall be retained until delivery
and acceptance of said diesel powered single-axle durrp trucks has been
completed.
