AND ORDERING .A1JVERI'ISEVIEN1' FOR BIDS FOR <nJSTRUCrIOO
OF PUVIP lIDSE FOR
SCUlHEAST AREA TRUNK WATER SUPPLY AND STORAGE FACILI'lY
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ci ty Council on
March 10, 1986, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for
the construction of the pump house for that local improvement designated as
the Southeast Area Trunk Water Supply and Storage Facility and has presented
such plans and specifications to the City Council for approval.
NlV, 1HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in "Construction Bulletin" an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications.
The advertisement shall be published for one day, shall specify the work to
be done, shall state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 11:30 a.m.
on May 26, 1987, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall by the City Clerk and Engineer, will then be
tabulated, and will be considered by the Council at a.m. (p.m.) on
, 1987, in the Council Chambers, and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, big bond or certified check payable to the Clerk
for per cent of the amount of such bid.
