2003 PARK TOURS
The Shorewood Park Commission will be touring the following
parks:
Tuesday, July 8, 2003
at 6:00 p.m.
6:00 p.m. Sharp--Meet at Shorewood City Hall
6:10 p.m. Continue to Shorewood Public Works Building for brief tour
of facility (Q&A back on board the bus)
6:30 p.m. Silverwood Park for brief review of the practice tennis court
(Q&A on board the bus)
6:40 p.m. South Shore Community Park for brief review of new sign
and lay-out
7:00 p.m. Deephaven Park (Main Beach Area) to review new multi-
purpose surface (Deephaven Park rep will be present)
7:45 p.m. Chanhassen Skate Park (Todd Hoffman, of Chanhassen
Park and Rec will give a brief overview of current park
improvements and activities)
8:10 p.m. Chanhassen Lake Ann Park (Hoffman will give a brief
explanation of the parks users and
development/management philosophy)
8:30 p.m. Sedge Meadow and Oak Savanna at U of M Arboretum
(Hwy 41 and 5) for a brief tour and explanation to be
conducted by Comissioner Davis (as relates to the Freeman
Park Wetland discussions)
9:10 p.m. Chaska Dairy Queen
No action will be taken
