and wondered if I might be the person your looking for.

Extensive use of Hennepin Parks- Biking, Hiking, Crosscountry Ski Training

Cub Scout Den Leader- 1998 to 2002
Boy Scouts, currently getting involved as Adult Leader in Boy Scouts -2002 +
My views on need for parks and trails:
- People need to be able to get around the city safely without a car.
- Kids should be able to safely walk/ride to schools and parks.
- Encourage fitness and appreciation of nature
- Enhance livability and sense of community by allowing people to meet.
- Provide recreation opportunity for kids without having to have mom and dad drive them to the park.
- Provide recreation activities for all.ages.
- Provide "green space" for organized sports.
Please let me know what kind of a commitment the Park Commission entails and if I would be a viable
candidate.
