Johnson 26915 Noble Road Shorewood, MN 952-401-9552 Grew up in Minnetonka Shorewood since 1996 Married - 2 children ages 8 and 10 Project Engineer, United Defense L.P Education, BSEE Uof M 1984, MBA U of St Thomas 1991 Trial Enthusiast: Approx 6 to 10 hours per week, Running, Biking, Cross Country Skiing Extensive use of Hennepin Parks- Biking, Hiking, Crosscountry Ski Training Coach Rec Soccer (Tonka United)-1997 to 2000 Cub Scout Den Leader- 1998 to 2002 Boy Scouts, currently getting involved as Adult Leader in Boy Scouts -2002 + My views on need for parks and trails: - People need to be able to get around the city safely without a car. - Kids should be able to safely walk/ride to schools and parks. - Encourage fitness and appreciation of nature - Enhance livability and sense of community by allowing people to meet. - Provide recreation opportunity for kids without having to have mom and dad drive them to the park. - Provide recreation activities for all.ages. - Provide "green space" for organized sports.
